I know I sound like I'm whining…but I really had hopes that this shade would be just a little deeper. It's a good color, decent payoff, not horribly light, it isn't a pink, and it's not semisheer. But…I was kind of hoping for a richer red.

Now onto the positives of this shade. The color payoff is pretty close to what you see in the pot. The application is even, no bald spots. Color payoff is decent, and you can apply it lighter if you want to try for something semisheer. (I have no idea if this color would work as a blush, or if it's lip-safe; but the shade is about right.) This is almost a deep raspberry or dark watermelon red - so I guess that there are pink undertones to it. And while I haven't seen this in any brick-and-mortar store that has an NYX display, the color is not discontinued nor perennially sold out on the various web sites.
