All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
NYX Cosmetics’ Slide On Eye Pencil in Tropical Green

Some metallic eye pencils just don’t apply well. They skip, they skid, they flake away. (Urban Decay, I’m looking at you.) This beetle-green applies smoothly, stays in place, and has amazing color payoff. It ends up washing out my eye color, making it seem more slate than blue; but in my opinion, that’s not an issue since the color itself does so well. This is the deep metallic green liner that I’ve been hoping to find - and all along it was right under my nose. (I had this color in my collection for a few years before I actually got around to swatching it.)
