NYX Cosmetics’ Slide On Eye Pencil collection

I’m a sucker for eyeliner pencils. I really am. I had most of these colors from other lines already, but I wanted to compare them. These aren’t stated as being waterproof, and they do last a little longer if I paint them with sealer; but they go on very smoothly and stay fairly well. I also like that they include the standard black and brown, which are what many people want; but also have metallic olive and bronze. The brown is actually brown, too! It’s not brown-black, it’s actually brown.

Three eyeliner pencils swatched: Black Sparkle, Glitzy Gold, and Golden Bronze. Three eyeliner pencils swatched: Golden Olive, Jewel, and Platinum. Three eyeliner pencils swatched: Pretty Violet, Pure White, and Tropical Green.

I ended up falling in love with Pretty Violet. It's kind of a sterno-violet that provides color more than definition, and it's a shade that I keep picking up in whatever format I find it. I was really interested in Jewel, a mauve; but it doesn't apply smoothly.
