All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Nyx Cosmetics’ Suede Matte Lipstick in Smudge Me

This is just a bit darker than it appears in the vendor photos. It’s a teal-leaning navy matte. Since it’s a color that fairer humans don’t normally have on their lips unless something is medically wrong or artificial, the inner lip area where lipstick won’t take hold shows in stark contrast. The formula is the standard Suede Matte - it applies well, but this one doesn’t stain and it does fade fairly noticeably. I can see myself wearing this as an eye or possibly a lip accent color, but not as a sole lip shade.
