Olay’s Regenerist Regenerating Serum

The name’s a bit repetitive and redundant…but it works great for me.

This has been part of my daily routine since 2011. I started using this because it was available at Costco in a large-size bottle, at a lower price than I’d pay at the drugstore. I chose the serum because serums are moisturizers, but with a greater concentration of the active ingredient(s). I don’t have to use much on my face - just a small amount, one pea-sized drop, covers half of my face. I apply it after I’ve gotten out of the shower. It really does reduce the lines and wrinkles in my skin - not drastically when viewed from a distance, but I do see the changes under and around my eyes and mouth.

The changes don’t last, of course. You have to reapply the next day. I use the night cream sporadically, and more often in the winter when my skin needs all the TLC it can get. I use the serum on my face, neck, even elbows and heels. The expiration date is twelve months from the time the bottle/pump is first used. It’s still usable after that, but that’s the guaranteed lifespan of the active ingredient. That’s another reason why I use it on more than just my face: if I’m paying extra for the more-concentrated active ingredients, I want to actually use them when they’re at their most effective.
