OPI’s 212

When this was first released, there was a lot of glee about a holographic black polish. Fast forward two years, and I finally broke down and bought a bottle. I don't know if I got a bad batch, or if the particles had just settled quite a lot…but while I did see some scattered multicolored sparkle, I didn't see any holographic effects. (It could very well be settling. I bought this bottle in Atlanta…in 2011. It took me nearly two years to use it. That's enough time for it to settle quite well, I think.)

The polish is okay. Not spectacular, not horrid, but okay. The “holographic” effects, though, are truly minimal. I think there is more holographic action going on here than in one of Zoya's “holographic” polishes…but not by much.
