Persephone Minerals’ Sagitta Mystical highlighter

A long-discontinued product from a long-defunct company. Sometimes, huge backlogs can mean that you kick yourself repeatedly for not buying backups when the company (or product) was still purchasable. I was fortunate, in that my instincts got me to buy multiples of this product so that I had my “standard” 20-gram-jar-full in my collection.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the face color in the pot; top right, the face color patted loosely over primer, to better show the shade and properties; and below, the color applied to the cheeks.

Of the three “mystical” highlighters that I purchased, Sagitta is best suited for my eyelids. The blue shimmer can pretty nicely highlight some of the blushes that I have, but the sheer base color might wash out the blush color too much. (Then again…this might be a good way for me to use some of the deeper reds, both to soften the base color and add a subtle interference layer.)
