Revlon’s Colorburst Lacquer Balm collection

The huge popularity of the original, now-renamed Just Bitten Kissable Balmstains lead Revlon to not simply expand the original lineup, but give us two new collections: one in matte-finish, one in high-shine “lacquer” finish. There are some great colors in this collection, and the high-shine finish is lovely.

But look carefully at the collection name. Colorburst Lacquer Balm. Notice what’s missing? Lots of bloggers did. The “stain” that made the original collection such a fantastic hit…is gone. These are lipsticks in jumbo-pencil format. That said, they’re not horrendous. The ease-of-application is still there, and I can get a few hours’ wear (with no eating or drinking) before I need to re-apply. But you should definitely know what to expect.
