Revlon’s Colorburst Balmstain in Charm

This is one of my least favorite colors in this line - aside from the orange-reds like Romantic that just won't look good on me no matter how hard I try or what other colors I wear. This is basically the balmstain-line equivalent of the nude lip: it doesn't lay down much color, it doesn't appear to make much difference in terms of shade of tinting. Application and wear is as easy and as long as the other colors in this line. This particular color just isn't one that I reach for very often.

I guess I could wear this on my no-lipstick days, to provide just a little tiny bit of balm-appearance to my lips. I don't know that this has any therapeutic properties, and it won't provide any SPF protection for my lips, but…dang it, I have to use it up somehow!!

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

A montage of three images: top left, close-up of the lip color in the tube; top right, the color applied over bare skin, to better show the shade; and below, the color applied to the lips.
