Sally Hansen’s Birthday Suit (110)

This was my first polish from the Miracle Gel collection. After reading several reviews online, I bought one of the two-paks (one polish, and the required top coat) to test these polishes out, and see if they'd work for me or if I was one of the folks whose body chemistry did not play nicely with this polish. I chose this color because it was a very nice neutral, a good seasonal-transition / office-friendly shade.

The polish itself applied decently, though I found that I really did need two coats to get full opacity. One coat was not completely opaque. As long as I waited between coats for the first one to completely cure, and then waited a similar amount of time after applying the second coat before adding the top coat, I got a decent manicure. This lasted four days, and part of the reason was because the application - or, at least, my application - needs to be just a little bit different, to take into account the differences between these gel polishes, and other “regular” nail polishes.
