Sally Hansen’s Gold Roses

I picked this color up during my trip to Atlanta, thinking to do my nails while waiting for my flight home. (I had four hours' time to wait in the airport.)

As usual, I love the brush. It's wide enough that I can cover the whole nail (and not get too much on my cuticles) in two strokes. The polish…is just a little on the thin side. Two coats and I still had some obviously thinner areas. The polish also showed brushstrokes, so there's both a problem with thinning and with spreadability. The polish is more of a copper than a gilded rose. I wish it leaned just a tiny bit more red.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches
