Sally Hansen’s Grey Matters (290)

When the Miracle Gel line came out, this was one of the first colors to catch my eye. It's a gorgeous greyed turquoise-aqua - a bit more greyed than Jaded. It almost looks like a bleached-wood beach house.

Application was better than my first manicure with these polishes, but it still took me two coats to get even, opaque coverage. (And I got better results when I use a base coat, which Sally Hansen recommends one not do. Well, I tried not using a base coat…and just got better results when my manicure didn't go commando.) There are still a few small bald spots, which all resulted when I applied the UV-activated top coat. It's a thicker product, and application tends to drag through the polish beneath.

I got just over five days' wear out of this polish. I like this color, I'll keep using it, but as I've stated previously…five days' wear time, for a nail polish where I have to use only a certain top coat? Not the best fiscal option, in my opinion.
