Sally Hansen’s Spring 2014 Vibrations Pastels On Pointe collection

Three creme polishes, and three “effects top coats” similar to Debu-tint - in that they have iridescent shimmer, and a faint base color, but really are almost sheer when worn on their own. As far as I know, this collection isn’t a collaboration with any designer or group of designers - like previous Spring and Fall collections have been. I liked that this collection had brighter “spring” colors without being either pastels, or near-neons.

I tend not to be a huge fan of "topper" polishes or effects-coats; but picked these three up as well. (I have yet to do a manicure with any of them, though I've worn the three cremes.) My favorite is Tulle Kit, because of the shade; but the effects-coat that I think I'll probably use the most is Tutu Pretty. Take The Leap is very soft, compared to the other two.

This collection contained:

  • Cur-Tan Call — lightly tanned peach creme
  • Pique Side — muted mint-green creme
  • Don't Be Leotardy — mauve-rose creme
  • Take the Leap — sheer lilac shimmer
  • Tulle Kit — sheer medium slate-blue shimmer
  • Tutu Pretty — sheer rose-pink shimmer
