Sephora’s Contour Eye Pencil in Love Affair

I think this color was supposed to be a metallic - or at least a shimmer - finish. It's instead semisheer, and more of a satin finish than anything else. It applies evenly, just…badly-evenly. For a purple that swatches this dark, I'd expect more color payoff on the lid. There wasn't much there. It wasn't as invisible as some other eyeliner pencils that I own, but I can safely say that this is the least impressive of the Sephora Contour Eye Pencils that I have tried to date. Fortunately, since I own most of the collection and out of all 30 pencils that I own there's only been one that's failed so badly, that's a pretty good record for the overall collection.
