Applied dry, Porygon is similar to Fyrinnae's Sugar Skulls, but with less gold shimmer. The deeper magenta tones show up when it's foiled. I actually kind of like having shadows that have some contrast between wet and dry application - it gives me a bit more range without having to have two separate colors.
Like all of Shiro's shadows, Porygon adheres well and stays in place, not much fallout during application. (That's another plus of Shiro's shadows: no fallout, which means less product decorating my vanity and more for use on my lids.)
I was initially hesitant about getting this one because of the color. While growing up, my mom kept saying, over and over, “You should wear hot pink, it makes your blue eyes stand out!” So, of course, I developed an aversion to wearing anything hot pink. (I've found that I like the way deep rust-orange colors look on my eyes - they emphasize the blue without making my eyes look like I've been crying or like I have allergies. But some hot pink is nice, now and then. And since it's been years since I was a teenager, I can ditch the color aversion.
