Shiro Cosmetics’ Zubat / Shiro Cosmetics’ Repel

The lightest-weight color of the collection, but it's a nice deep blue - so compared to Bare Escentuals' Glimpses (new nomenclature: glimmers) it's about the same level of opacity. Perhaps even more. Again, great adhesion. If you like Gigi but are still leery of using blue eyeshadow, give this one a shot. You'll still need to use a lighter hand when applying it until you've gotten over your “blue fears”, but this one will give you color without the WHAM! factor that gives so many people trouble when using blue eyeshadow. It's a lovely, rich, sedate-but-not-boring blue. (And when you're ready, you can amp the color up by foiling it. Go on, take off the training wheels…)
