Sleek Makeup’s Safari i-Divine Palette

Buying Sleek’s i-Divine palettes on Ebay isn’t always the best way to get a good price.

But when you find yourself really craving a long-discontinued palette…you’ve got to forge ahead. (Well, depending on how badly you want the palette and how much it costs.) I managed to find a seller who had three of the Safari palettes available for sale. Granted, I paid nearly triple retail for this one when you factor in shipping…but, I got it!!

The leftmost four eyeshadows, in the palette: Upper 1 (medium black matte), Upper 2 (medium gold-yellow matte), Lower 2 (white matte), Lower 1 (light tan matte) The middle four eyeshadows, in the palette: Upper 3 (light green satin), Upper 4 (light sage-green satin), Lower 4 (medium-deep green shimmer), Lower 3 (medium bright green matte) The rightmost four eyeshadows, in the palette: Upper 5 (medium copper-red shimmer), Upper 6 (medium butter-yellow matte), Lower 6 (medium-deep brown satin), Lower 5 (light beige-tan shimmer) Four eyeshadows, swatched dry over primer: Upper 1 (medium black matte), Upper 2 (medium gold-yellow matte), Lower 2 (white matte), Lower 1 (light tan matte) Four eyeshadows, swatched dry over primer: Upper 3 (light green satin), Upper 4 (light sage-green satin), Lower 4 (medium-deep green shimmer), Lower 3 (medium bright green matte) Four eyeshadows, swatched dry over primer: Upper 5 (medium copper-red shimmer), Upper 6 (medium butter-yellow matte), Lower 6 (medium-deep brown satin), Lower 5 (light beige-tan shimmer)

This palette caught my eye because it contained a number of nicely-harmonizing neutrals and greens. The colors were warm-ish, but they were cool enough that at least half of them looked like I could wear them easily. (Upon swatching, I see that I might have a challenge figuring out how to use the two deeper golds in the upper row, but what's life without a little challenge now and again?)
