Sleek Makeup’s Ultra Mattes v2 i-Divine Palette

I prefer the colors in this palette to the Brights version of the Ultra Mattes. The pigmentation, application, and staying power of the shadows in both palettes are fairly similar; it’s solely a personal preference. I like bright colors, but when I have a choice between saturated brights and saturated darks, I’ll go for the deeper shades.

I received this as a gift from Sirvinya, who is pretty much my supplier of All Things Sleek - both this and the Ultra Mattes v2 palettes could not be shipped to the US or Canada.

This kit contained:

Upper Row

  • Orbit — medium-deep teal matte
  • Ink — dark blue matte
  • Highness — medium violet matte
  • Noir — black matte
  • Dune — sand-beige matte
  • Pillow Talk — medium white matte

Lower Row

  • Thunder — medium grey matte
  • Maple — softened brick-red matte
  • Flesh — beige-peach matte
  • Paper Bag — medium brown matte
  • Villain — mauve-purple matte
  • Fern — medium leaf-green matte

My personal favorites are Orbit, Maple, Flesh, and Fern. (In fact, I could probably use all four of those colors together...) Orbit and Fern are both rich, lush shades that make amazing accents. Flesh and Maple are closer to neutral, Flesh works really well to keep a richly-hued look from taking over. Maple is a shade that I wasn't all that sure that I'd like, but after swatching it, and then wearing it, the color can add depth to my eyes without making them look sunken - and it helps emphasize the whites without appearing too red.
