These don’t say that they’re felt-tipped pens, but…essentially, that’s what they are. Some folks love these and some hate them. I like them because they give me a little bit more control than any brush applicator; and since I did learn Chinese calligraphy I learned how to handle a pen to create lines of differing or even changing widths. There are only five colors in this collection thus far, which is a little sad for those of us who want liner colors other than brown or black; but yay for Stila, they have a bright blue, an olive green, and a medium grey. So while there’s not as much color choice as in their Sparkle collection, there’s at least a decent variety. I also appreciate the fact that they’re waterproof - though as with most felt-tip liners, the ink does take a little time to dry. If you apply these, then open your eyes to the fullest immediately, you run the risk of transfer. (It took maybe 5 seconds to dry, though - not 10 or 20.) I only have two from this collection, and I don’t know that I’ll buy any more…unless Stila adds a deep maroon.
