Perversion is a black eyeliner, similar to the ubiquitous Urban Decay shade Zero. When I do a side-by-side comparison, Perversion is just a bit darker. I don't know if that's the base shade, or the creme-versus-matte finish…but Zero is more of a softened black or a very very deep charcoal.

I've used eyeliners from several other brands. Comparing this pencil liner to other black pencil liners, I'd say that Perversion is softer in texture, and is one of the darker black eyeliner pencils out there. If the price of an individual pencil is a bit offputting, look around for any Urban Decay 24-7 Glide On pencil kit. Chances are good that Perversion will be one of the colors inside.
