I love a good metallic polish. I don’t always love the roughened metallics, but Zoya seems to have found the sweet spot between “mirror-metallic” and “textured metallic”. Their holographic polishes, with the so-scattered-it-isn’t-even-funny “holographic” finishes, are far too subtle. But these are perfect. I love the colors, too: brighter without being neon, and almost closer to a springtime-candy basket than the super-bright primaries usually found on summer toys and clothes and so on.
All of these polishes apply well, take only two coats for full coverage, and are durable. My favorites are Tinsley, a dupe for Wet n Wild's Waves of Enchantment; and Kerry, a sunny yellow metallic. I passed on Bobbi - it's a nice enough color, and I'm sure that it applies and wears as well as the others in this collection, but it's not a favorite color of mine. It's a deeper purple than it appears on the product photos on Zoya's web site.
