Zoya built this collection out of previously-released colors. Piaf, GeiGei, and Julie were all previously released in the Zang Toi NYFW kit, and Jacqueline and Neely were part of the limited-edition Peter Som collection. The only truly new color in this collection is Blu. It’s kind of nice to see the release of these limited-edition colors, because then folks who fell in love with the shades during their super-short limited release program can actually get the colors. Zoya did the same thing with Rekha, from the Bibhu Mohapatra show collection. (I’m still waiting for Parveen and Zeenat to show up somewhere!)
Three of the colors are creme finish, and three are the “liquid-crystal” finish first seen on Parveen: it's not quite a shimmer, it's not really a sparkle, but there is both texture and light refraction. Julie, Piaf, and GeiGei all have this finish. Application can be a little bit tricky, as all three of these colors for me were a little bit thin. Normally, two coats with any Zoya non-sheer polish gets me solid coverage and good opacity, but I had some thin spots with each of these polishes after two coats. (Piaf was the worst offender. I think that yellow nail polishes and I just Don't Get On Well.) Blu, Jacqueline, and Neely are all creme finishes, and I didn't experience any problems with application of coverage.
