Not too many companies do blues in this range, it seems…even if they otherwise have lots of blues in their inventory. Brights, neons, navies, jeweltones, if a company has blue nail polish those are the shades you’re apt to find. But not this shade. Not so much. One of the first Zoyas that caught my eye was Jo, because it was a periwinkle-slate blue where all the other blues were brights or dark navies (Kotori, Ibiza). This year, we got three blues in the same general range - Skylar, from Zoya, and two in OPI’s Holland collection.

I like these murky blues, I think I need to get using this one!
I love this color! I recently wore I Don’t Give a Rotterdam, and while it’s a pretty mid-range dusty blue, it doesn’t have the same depth as Skylar. I hope Zoya adds a few more blues and purples in this color-range (like Lotus) to their lineup.
