Zoya’s Stacy

This was an autumn-collection release…and that's definitely reflected in the color. It's a warmer purple (which, to me, always suggests fall. Don't ask me why.) I don't know if it was the formula of this bottle or the formula of all of the polishes in this particular collection, but they're not easy to work with. They don't have good spreadability, they lump and slump and don't lay nicely. Stacy took only two coats for full opacity, but you can see the uneven spots - both heavier and lighter - in the photos, particularly the third one.

I think I might try using this as a nail stamping polish. I'm sure it will look amazing over a pale green, or a bubblegum pink. It's also nice to see a darker color that doesn't look almost black (though in some lights it did look almost coffee-brown.) I personally don't love the color, but if you prefer warmer purples to cooler “royal” purples, you'll definitely want to check Stacy out.

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches
