Zoya’s Tickled collection

Thank goodness for sales. That’s all I have to say.

When this collection first debuted, I was interested in some of the shades, but not quite so thrilled with the price. It didn’t come available until AFTER the Earth Day 2014 sale, either, so either I’d have to get them at full price, or I’d have to wait nearly a year. (Or…you know…grab them from Ulta when they’re having an online sale that actually includes Zoya, and use Ebates to get a little bit more back.)

Photos that show how the product actually performs...! See how I create my swatches

I like that the shades are brighter and "summery" without being neon. Neons can be great, but not everyone is equally enthralled with them. And as much as I like Dillon and Rebel and other micro-glass fleck polishes, it's nice to get solid performing creme polishes that I can easily use for drizzle or stamping manicures.

This collection contained:

  • Ling — medium sapphire creme
  • Kitteridge — candy-pink creme
  • Rocha — persimmon-peach creme
  • Rooney — vivid tulip-pink creme
  • Tilda — new-leaf green creme
  • Wendy — pink-coral creme

The only polish I ended up not getting was Kitteridge. It's an attractive enough color, but I prefer deeper pinks like Rooney. I got Rocha, and it's non-yellow enough that it doesn't look too strange on me; but I have a feeling that I may be a little challenged as to how to use that one up. It's not a shade that I'll naturally think of, when mentally assembling my next more artistic manicure.
