Zoya’s Winter Matte Velvet collection

The second matte collection that Zoya released was also a limited edition. Its colors were in stock for about a year. The first to be discontinued was Harlowe. Second, Posh. I haven’t tried the other matte colors that came out - the neon brights released in summer 2011 - but I know that there were complaints about the formula for these. I also personally like the polishes better under a top coat, than in their “natural” matte state.

This collection contained:

  • Harlowe — warm medium purple matte
  • Savita — cool violet gold-flecked matte
  • Veruschuka — deep green matte

Harlowe was discontinued in late summer 2011. Veruschuka and Savita were still available as of February 2012, but were marked to be discontinued (you could no longer purchase the spoons.) Harlowe was the only color from this collection that I did not get - not because I missed it (though I did) but because I don't like that shade of purple. I was happy that, when I did finally go on my matte-spree, Savita - the cooler purple - was still in stock.
