This color was one of the five “Go To Girls” colors - all neutrals - introduced by Heather when TheSheSpace was launched. The five were intended to be a limited-edition set, but demand was so high that they were made regular colors. They were discontinued in late 2008 because a few of the base ingredients were no longer available.
This is marketed for use as an overall base color for the eyes - to lighten up the area, as well as conceal/even out the canvas. I know that when I use MAC's Soft Ochre paint pot, I get a brightening effect…but I also get a cream shadow base if I use that product. I'll possibly try this out as an undereye brightener and see if it works for me.
