It looks like it might just be black, or a purple so dark as to effectively be black. It's a bit similar to Bare Escentuals' Midnight, in that even if you apply it softly it still looks black...but put it next to true black shadow or liner, you can see the purple and red shimmer. There's also no sootiness to this color, like there are with some darker liner shades from various companies - even though there is the underlying black.
Initially I wasn't going to get this color; but I think I'll enjoy using this as a crease color for smoky eyes as well as a liner shade.

The shop photos of this color make it sound like a nice purple with some sparkle; but they don’t really show the depth of the sparkle. When I got and tested the sample baggie, it looked like it might be similar to either Kareena or Laura, but I wasn’t totally sure (those two colors are so close, anyway). When I got the fullsize jars…almost an exact replica of Kareena.
