It must be yellow polishes. All three of the colors from the Zang Toi NYFW 2012 collection were a little thinner and required more coats for full coverage; but Piaf is the most uneven of them all. I've had similar problems with other yellow polishes, not just Zoya. It makes me wonder if there's some chemical compound in yellow oxides or coloring agents, that just doesn't play well with others. This is the warm counterpart of China Glaze’s FYI - a warm tan, with the metallic silvering that can make it a bit difficult to see the color in this color! It applies very easily, full coverage in two coats, with no chalky feel or thinness that I’ve seen in other holographic polishes. I love both the linear holographic effect, and the light warm brown shade. I look forward to trying to use this for some freehand nail...

China Glaze’s Blue Bells Ring

I don't know what it is about these deeper blue metallics that flips the “Gotta catch ‘em all!” dipswitch in my brain…but there you have it. This blue is a brighter shade than Blue Year's Eve, and has silver textured sparkle so that a finished manicure looks like hammered blue metal. This makes it really very striking. I haven't tried this as a stamping polish yet, so I don't know how it would work, whether the texture would cause...
