Monaco is a good transitional / all autumn long palette. It's got the semi-pastel shades Kiwi Zest and Lotus Flower and Summer Breeze, along with Magenta Madness. Then there are Washed Ashore, Moor's Treasure, Midnight Garden, and Aquamarine to ground the looks a bit. It really is, to me, a more versatile, wearable palette than its sibling Curacao. I started to assemble the look, and intended to do something really simple. Three colors maximum. ...yeah, that so did not happen today....

Similar to Louise, from last fall's Cashmeres set, but just a tiny bit softened.

This is a sheer frost with a slight yellowish cast. It kind of reminds me of OPI's Fireflies. It is definitely sheer, though, and even with multiple coats I couldn't get full opacity. This is best used as an effects top-coat. (It's also a little on the thin side…but I can imagine that it would make some subtly stunning tone-on-tone stamping manicures.)

Released just this past summer, with the latest additions to the CSM collection. While there was a sheer white in the collection before, it was nice to have an opaque white in this formula. It can be a little thinner in spots, and either I need a third coat to really even this one out or (and I suspect that it's this second option) I need to apply the coats more slowly, to make sure that it applies evenly.
