BareMinerals’ Custom Blends Volume I kit

The first of three “custom-blend” eyeshadow kits. BE had released other customer-suggested custom blends (the cheek and eye colors from the Heroes kit; Aurora and Trinity from the Superstars kit; the colors in Perfecct 10…) but these were the first collections explicitly advertised as “customer blends.” The packaging even listed the name and state of each person who created the shade. All three of these kits were QVC exclusives, and later they appeared at the bareMinerals outlet stores.

This kit contained:

  • Honeydew — pale green pearl
  • Mocha Supreme — iridescent pinked beige
  • Non Fat Candy — taupe with green pearl
  • Shangri-La — pearl-taupe shimmer

The four colors are all pretty soft “earthy” tones. Mocha Supreme is a personal favorite. I can’t figure out how I’m going to best wear Honeydew, but I’ll find some way - it’s pale enough that I may be able to use it as a quasi-highlighter.
