BareMinerals’ Custom Blends Volume II kit

Judging from the fact that these colors are almost impossible to find on Ebay or Amazon, I’m going to guess that these were the colors that appealed most to people. Angel Food Cake was brought back in this year’s Ulta-exclusive Thank You, You’re So Sweet kit. None of the others have been in other recent kits, though.

None of these are jeweltone, but none of them are softer pastels either. They're all - even the brown - deeper spring shades, or watered-down winter jeweltones. I like Bermuda the best, followed by Angel Food Cake and Bloomin' Surprise. I haven't found any jars of Dazzling, not even the smaller "petite" jars.

This kit contained:

  • Angel Food Cake (Nude Beach + Red Velvet Cake) — softened mauve-rose shimmer
  • Bermuda (Denim + Oz) — rich teal-turquoise shimmer
  • Bloomin' Surprise (Bloom + Surprise) — medium-deep lavender shimmer
  • Dazzling (Drama + Puzzle) — silvered taupe-buff shimmer
