This is another shade like Chelsea Girl or Island Vibes: it has a matte-like finish, and two coats gives you full coverage, but not necessarily 100% opaque. I love this shade as an early spring/late summer shade: it looks like azaleas in bloom. The formula is standard Color Club formula for cremes, even if this is a quasi-matte. It doesn’t clump up or show brushstrokes, it covers and self-levels wonderfully, and the finished manicure is clear and clean. If you prefer a high-shine mani, you’ll definitely want to use a top coat to get that shine. Depending on your personal preferences, you may also want to use a third coat to get total opacity.
One upside about having these semi-transparent polishes is that you can layer them over other nail polish shades to get a slightly different color, or get a greater impact from the magenta in this color itself. I tried putting this over a “nude” neutral, and the color was just a tiny bit brighter.(My next trick: applying it over white, and stamping over it with white stamping polish.)
