All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Maybelline’s Volum’ Express Pumped Up! Colossal Waterproof Mascara

I am not sure how I feel about the Volum’Express mascaras as a collection. For me, some give me more volume while others don’t. This one does give me a bit of volume, and does so without giving me “spider-lashes.” There’s some clumping, but it’s less obvious from a few feet away - as opposed to about a foot, which is how close the camera was to my eye when I took these photos. I do have a few issues with separation and definition, since my lashes seem more fond of sticking together with this mascara. This one doesn’t dethrone my current favorite mascara (Total Temptation, another Maybelline mascara) but it’s a good, inexpensive mascara. This is available in washable and waterproof versions.
