NYX Cosmetics’ Bayou Chrome

In the pot, this looks like it might a rich, gorgeous vibrant sapphire. Unfortunately…the color softens quite a bit upon application. (This was one of the later Chromes, in the square jars; I heard some people saying that the overall quality of the Chromes declined when they were packaged in these square jars. I don't know if that's because the formula changed, or if this color always performed this way and I just didn't know because I hadn't bought it previously.) This definitely performs better foiled, than applied dry.
