NYX Cosmetics’ Epic Wear Liner Stick in Gold Plated

I keep wanting these gold pencil and stick liners to work well…and they don’t quite. I’ve tried formulas that were a bit too firm, and thus applied patchy; formulas that were a bit dried out, and so flaked; formulas that skip a bit. This one applies smoothly enough, but it doesn’t apply evenly. Even when swatching it, some spots were a bit thinner and I didn’t markedly improve things when I went over the area a second time.

The color is nice and bright. I’d imagine that this would show up astoundingly well against richer skintones. People with strong cool undertones may prefer to stick with either the silver from this collection,
