All of the entries for the year 2020 were completed before March 2020. Most items were bought in, or before, 2019. And so, despite the pandemic where buying makeup is definitely a lower priority, I'm still publishing these posts.
Nyx Cosmetics’ Suede Matte Lipstick in Copenhagen

Exactly the same color as the Copenhagen lip liner, but in an (in my opinion) easier-to-use format. Copenhagen initially was only available as a lipliner. This color, along with Cherry Skies, were shades that I really wanted to see in bullet form. When the second wave of Suede Matte Lipsticks was added to the collection, there they both were!

Copenhagen is a deeper red, and it’s cooler than Cherry Skies. The lipstick is also a bit brighter than the lip liner, which is (to me) mildly irritating. It isn’t as bright as the vendor artwork would suggest, but it doesn’t have all of the richness and tone depth of Copenhagen lip liner.
