Sleek Makeup’s Calm Before the Storm i-Divine palette

This was released as a limited-edition palette…and here it is, a year and a half later, and the entire Nautical collection is still available! (I actually kind of like that. It means that I don’t have to panic about getting it in the first few weeks.) This particular palette was actually a Christmas gift to me, from my holiday exchange partner at /r/MakeupAddiction.

The leftmost four eyeshadows, in the palette: Starboard, Voyage, Barque, Ahoy! I was attracted to this because of all the blues and greens. Yeah, the eyeshadow combinations from this palette are a bit on the monotonous side (cameo-rose, a neutral, and some shade of green-blue) but it’s nice to have several shades of blue in a palette other than the long-discontinued Curiosity or Safari.

This kit contained:

Upper row

  • Starboard — pale white-green pearl
  • Voyage — cameo-rose satin
  • Pacific — deep blue satin
  • Caesium — medium-light aqua shimmer
  • Amphitrite — metallic robins-egg blue shimmmer
  • Sovereign — metallic medium navy shimmer

Lower row

  • Ahoy! — metallic gilded pewter shimmer
  • Barque — buff-brown satin
  • Adrift — medium-deep brown matte
  • Seaweed — medium aqua-green pearl
  • Navy Shower — medium-light grey shimmer
  • Lagoon — medium-deep teal satin
