One of the first eyeliners I fell in love with was this shade of sterno-purple. I was thrilled when I found this same shade in other lines, including Urban Decay. I had to grab at least two tubes of this when it was released as part of Urban Decay’s 20th birthday celebration! It’s a sheer color, so it’s best at either being a tint, or an effects layer on top of other lip colors. I like using it on its own, because then I get a suggestion of the purple and the blue iridescence. I haven’t tried using it to soften or cool down other lip shades…but I have a few candidates in mind.

This felt a little drier than the other Vice lipsticks I have, even though UD said that all of their Vintage Vice lipsticks were the old colors with the new, creamier, longer-lasting formula. I have found that I have to pay closer attention when applying this…so I don’t know if it will glide right over another lip color. I’m not sure if there’s anything that I can do, to try and make it softer. I’m worried that might cause the formula to break down entirely…and this, along with the ten other “vintage vice” colors, is now gone.
