The overall palette reminds me of Modern Folklore: vampy reds, some deep dusky blues, a darker purple. There are a mix of finishes and textures, though…and two lighter colors: a pink, and a gilded-silver. I have all but two of these polishes, and I may go back for Grommet...
Buttercream and red-plum seem to get paired up often in the BE universe. Specifically, these two eyeshadows. Which were also paired in the I Love BE and the Be True kit. (Someone probably also latched onto the names “Heart and Soul” and thus was an easy, frequent color combination born.)
A mixture of Pebble and Nude Beach (kind of indicated by the name…) It's a slightly ashy cream-beige with soft buff-brown pearl finish, and - nice for a lighter BE neutral - it has excellent color payoff. There isn't quite as much of the blue flash that I'd expect from...
Rich “holiday” red, almost an “antique” shade - this would look at home with the colors from Meow's Holiday Wishes collection. Color payoff is excellent, but unlike with some reds that are this saturated, I don't get any staining (not even when swatching wet on bare skin.)
The four “Exotic”-named eyeshadow colors in one collection. The colors work together…well, they’re not as poorly-matched as some BE kits. But all four of the colors don’t exactly harmonize easily, either. Laura and Sandra look good together, and Tara and Victoria could be made to coordinate...
One of BE’s “tutorial” kits - they gave you the pieces to get a certain basic look, and provided a tutorial on how to achieve whatever-it-was. The tutorials weren’t always successful, because they didn’t always take different face or eye shapes into account…but the color pieces...
I think this is called “glitter” because of the microglitter in it…but it isn't sparkly. The glitter is pretty sparse. Most of what ends up showing is the pale pink, and a finish halfway between a pearl and a shimmer.
Nearly a metallic finish, just barely not reflective enough to really count as “metallic.” This pencil had some minor issues with uneven application, but it wasn't too bad. (It wasn't as patchy as some of the UD pencils!) The color is bright, not quite a “shockingly vivid” blue, but close....
Not my least favorite radiance, but not something I reach for often, either. It's similar to Faux Tan, but the color is a bit softer and a bit warmer. I'm not fair enough that I can realistically use this for contouring, but I'm not sure how I really can use...
