BareMinerals’ Center Stage
Unassuming-looking medium warm brown with very strong color payoff and a satiny, near-pearl finish. Almost dark enough for lining (too light for some), dark enough to make a good contour shade on fair to medium skintones.

A pretty set of earthy cooler shades. Not quite as rich as I’d originally hoped, but a nice range of colors. Think of this as the cooler complement to the long-discontinued Safari palette. Unlike Safari, though, Garden of Eden is now part of the regular lineup. No need to...
Good things come to those who wait. In this case…it was in the form of this kit being reduced to 60% of its price in January. Five new full-size eyeshadows, and one new-to-me face color, and three face colors that I have but like? And everything’s full size? Sure,...
The color is okay - a neutral brown, solid color payoff, very faint shimmer finish. The quality is good. There's just not much to recommend this brown over another medium-weight brown - and just about every eyeshadow line seems to have those, because it's such a staple color. Crème...
It's almost a blackened brown…but more like there's a deep charcoal base to a deep bronze-brown, rather than full-on blackening.
The second in the mNg trio. The base color is very similar to the other two, and the green duochrome isn't too heavy or discordant. The combination makes me think of cartoon-drawn watermelons. I found that when I swatched this on bare skin, I got a little bit of staining....
This color behaves…interestingly. On my lids, it's a tan-taupe with a muted gold shimmer. When I use it on my brows, it's the perfect tan-taupe shade for me. The “gold” and “shimmer” bits seem to just disappear…or maybe the linger around faintly, giving me subtle brow highlights? (I...
Kind of a medium pale color, not too patchy, but for me this shade works better as a lid color - either an accent or the whole lid - than as a liner. It's not pale, it isn't invisible, but it doesn't give much in the way of definition, either....
Not my favorite blush color…but it's a nice shade with good coverage. Great for super-naturalistic or “no-makeup” looks where you don't want palest pink or peach.
