An attractive shade, but not my favorite. This is a warmer red, and I look better in cooler reds. This had the same issue that the other matte-finish Studded Lipsticks had: it's so pigmented that it's difficult to apply.
My least favorite of the Custom Blends II colors…and that's not saying that this color is poor, that's just saying that I liked the other ones better. This is a mixture of Bloom and Surprise, and is a nice, opaque periwinkle-lavender.
It's blackened…sort of. There's a black base, but there's more color to this one, than to the most similar shades in my collection: Drama Green and Drama Teal, both from Aromaleigh v1. The teal leans just a bit further into blue…but it's a very close call. The color...
Not as deep a red as it appears in the pot, but saturated enough. There's just a hint of purplish tones when applied dry. I don't precisely know why that is, but it's kind of cool having the occasional dual-identity shadow.
I'm not the biggest fan of effects top coats. I think this one will probably stay in the carry-box - it's pretty enough, and if you enjoy semisheer manicures it can be a great choice. It's fairly durable, and if it does chip, repairs don't look glaringly out of place.
The second holo in the Wild at Heart collection. If you liked China Glaze's FYI, or Color Club's Cherubic, this polish is close to either of those colors. Love ‘em and Leave ‘em is a bit more durable than FYI, though that could just be the age of my bottle...
CND debuted their gel-hybrid line in April 2013. The collection launched with 57 “core” colors…and rapidly began expanding as additional seasonally-themed collections were added (I’m not sure if they’re going to be limited edition or not, except for the Gilded Dreams collection which had “Limited Edition” blazoned all over...
Judging from the fact that these colors are almost impossible to find on Ebay or Amazon, I’m going to guess that these were the colors that appealed most to people. Angel Food Cake was brought back in this year’s Ulta-exclusive Thank You, You’re So Sweet kit. None...
