Salsa is the red color in Bare Escentuals' Destination: Ensenada kit. It's a slightly sheer color, and a neutral red. It's less pigmented than Vampires Tap Dancing from TSS, which it most closely resembles - Salsa could be used to warm up an eye look, to provide a light red base note, or as a lip color. Like all of Bare Escentuals' liner shadows, Midnight Sky is more pigmented than the regular BE eyeshadows. It is not as dark a color as the limited-edition BE liner shadow French Navy; but it's a deep rich blue with no sparkle or shimmer whatsoever. Excellent straight white matte color, good for lightening a dark color you want to tone down or for use as a brow highlighter. Snowcapped, the other pure white pigment available from TSS, is a bright white with shimmer. Crisp White Shirt is a velvet matte. The color payoff is good, it blends easily. I have not been as successful using this as a liner powder, but someone determined enough might be able to make it work.
