True metallic silver, no blackening or sooty residue - just pure shiny bright silver.
I bought this color as one of my first purchases from Aromaleigh, back before the sample program had been changed to let customers choose their own free samples with each order. Blaze has a sooty black undertone, so I was less than thrilled because I truly dislike colors that do this. However, if you're looking for a slightly orange red and don't mind “blackened” colors, don't let my preferences or experiences put you off of this one.
Not a true duochrome, but does appear to change from gold to faint silver. The colorshift is very apparent in the foiled (gold-toned) versus dry (silver-toned) swatches in the montage below. (I didn't necessarily intend to capture that…but I did, and that's kind of cool.)
Teal color with a gold base. Since it's one of the Elemental Lusters colors, there's not much difference between dry or foiled application.
