Tarnished-gold shimmer with a medium level of pigmentation. Not as sheer as some other TSS colors, even though I bought this one after the closing announcement.
Most yellow-greens don't really look good on me…the exception being deep khaki or olive greens.
"Defeat sits in his chair staring at the grey doves on the porch. He holds his hand underneath his heart, fingers curled tightly into themselves, glued together in a paralized rage." — from The Book of Qualities by J. Ruth Gendler Part of the One Year Eyecolor Challenge (new colors used: 6)
This was another color I was originally thinking of getting when the collection first came out, but I didn't have the money. I reasoned, I have plenty of blues and aquas; and there is at least one color in the regular Aromaleigh collection that looks similar-ish (<a href=”/such/obsessive/addictions/aromaleighs_aqua_nightmare/”>Aqua Nightmare</a>), so I'll just relax, breathe, and not get this color. And then it was selected to become part of the regular...
I initially resisted getting this color as it looked a bit redder in the on-site photography. I bought this color when TSS was clearing out their inventory before discontinuing the About Face eyecolor line.
Definitely a taupe; but there are pink undertones. Opaque enough to be a good base color.
