Back when I first got Canna blush, I was thrilled with the duochrome iridescence. So when this collection came out (some time in early 2009, I think?), I drooled for years until I could afford to get several samples and a few full-size blushes. The blushes that I got initially looked like they’d be too dark, in the jar, but they all applied quite nicely…with the duochrome iridescence that I’d looked forward to! I’m still trying to figure out if I can legitimately use a color as deep as Promiscuous, because it looks like such a gorgeous, rich wine-red! There’s got to be a way, there’s got to be a way…give me enough time. (Maybe these are lip safe? I have no idea; but if they are…I think I’ve found a new set of toys!)

Vampy cremes for the 2008 fall season - partner to the Pulse metallics. This collection had a much narrower color range, though: red and brown, no purples like Pulse had.
