span class=/span I waited so long to list this collection because it took me a while to order, and then even longer to swatch the colors. At least with Fyrinnae their collections aren't really LE, so the colors are all available long after their launch (barring sudden discontinuations of any of the ingredients.) I love Alchemist's Curse and Are You My Mummy. The color-switch is the most visible in those two. Steampunk is gorgeous, as well! There have been raves for Book of the Dead, and it's a lovely shadow. Not my favorite shade, but excellent adhesion and opacity. Purgatory and Dorian Gray didn't really thrill me as much as I'd hoped...but neither is a truly unattractive color. Bride of Frankenstein has the least visible switch of all the Arcane Magic shadows in this collection, aside from Raven's Prophecy. A small collection, but some great shades.

Aromaleigh v2’s Holly Days collection

Aromaleigh v2’s Holly Days collection
  • Manufacturer: Aromaleigh v2

  • Contains: 16 eyeshadows
  • Cost/Amount: USD$7 for 1.2 grams
  • Would you purchase again: a few colors, yes

I started out not wanting any of these. I ended up getting all but four of the colors. The whole collection had fairly good pigmentation, and a mix of jeweltones, brights, and softer-but-not-pale colors. My early favorites from this collection were Poison Poinsettie and Pass the Glogg. I didn’t get Uncorked in full-size, since it looked a bit too similar to Nina from the Fall Tapestry collection…and I have plenty of medium pinks. Pass the Glogg reminds me of a not-quite-as-greyed Infernal Chaos. Down the Chimney is a nice color that complements my eyes well, but was just a tiny bit softer than I expected.

Beauty Tip

Soften a too-rich lipstick by blotting and then dusting your lips with finishing powder. (This also helps set the color.)
