The first of Bare Escentuals’ collaborative kits with Honora Pearls, released for the 2010 year (other kits were Exotic Pearls in the spring, Vintage Pearls in the summer and Modern Pearls in the fall.) The colors in these kits were infused with crushed pearls. Interestingly enough, though, this didn’t give the color items a pearl finish.

I passed on these kits when they first came out - I just wasn’t that interested in the autodelivery series from QVC. My biggest peeve was the brushes (over half of which I had from previous kits) and the mineral veil. And the endless tubes of Flawless Definition mascara. I mean, I like the mascara well enough; but I really don’t need another tube of it every three months. (Heck, I have so many tubes that I haven’t opened yet, I probably won’t need any more until…oh, about the year 2020.) I did pick the colors for this kit up later, and was really pleasantly surprised by the eyeliner-shadow.
