elf’s No Budge Shadow Stick collection

When elf came out with a small collection of shadow sticks, I was interested. I liked several of the colors, and hoped that they really would be "no-budge." While they do tend to stay in place for a longer time than many elf cream or pencil shadows, they aren't 100% budge-proof, especially on hooded lids. I also find that it's easier to over-apply the pearl- and shimmer-finish shades, which makes them take longer to cure and leaves them more prone to creasing or fading. The mattes are fairly solid, though the yellow doesn't apply evenly.

elf released a few shades with its other cross-brand collections Mint Melt and Cookies N Dreams. I skipped picking up some of the shades because the colors didn't appeal to me...but I still managed to buy almost every shade released to date.
