One of Meow’s first collections, part of the original regular line. The colors are matte, and are all over the spectrum. The formula is okay…but these are not the best matte shadows that I’ve tried. They work nicely and last long if foiled and applied over a base. Applied dry, they’re a bit chalky and, sadly, don’t have much staying power. They fade and fall away pretty quickly if they’re applied dry. The colors are amazing: a full spectrum of saturated shades. They look extremely tempting. I just wish that they performed as well as some of Meow’s other shadows.

I have a feeling that this is an indie-matte-shadow issue, since so many indies who have matte colors have these exact same issues. If Meow could tweak the formula so that the shadows performed as well applied dry as with an actual mixing medium, they will have a collection of matte eyeshadows that equal or improve on anything else that I've tried, indie OR BigCommercial. (I would be so very happy if they could match the quality of the old Aromaleigh v1 matte-eyeshadow formula! Those were fantastic shadows.)
